MIDI Component
Support Various File Formats
The MIDI Component plays Karaoke file (KAR), Module file (MOD, S3M, XM, MTM, IT) which is the combination of the sampled sound source and music theme
data, as well as common MIDI file.
Quick Track Selection
If you press [Quick Track Select] button on the left of component, you can move to another track quickly.
Clicking the mouse on the track number does the same operation.
Lyric Display
Jet-Audio supports the lyric display function and it changes the color of the lyric according to the process.
Key and Tempo Control
You can change the Key and Tempo when you play a MIDI and Karaoke file (KAR). But this function doesn't work for playing a module file.
NOTE
- Jet-Audio supports MIDI Karaoke file which has KAR extension. KAR file is a kind of standard MIDI file, which is MIDI file format 1 even though we call it KAR to
distinguish from existing MIDI file. So you can play a KAR file on your old MIDI player only if you change its extension to MID. (No verse of course.) Unlike various
kinds of Singing Room file formats created by Sound Card vendors, the KAR file is a standard format, whose format is open. So there are many programs that
support this file format.
